Mentoring & Quality Reviews
For clients with in-house or outsourced development teams, we can provide a mentoring service. Our expert software engineers and architects have experience of working within teams and helping to guide them and pass on industry best practice. We believe that quality needs to be everyone’s responsibility and we aim to foster best practice throughout the team.
Mentoring can be in the form of working in a team leading role, working alongside the team, or through workshops.
In addition, we can act as an external independent review centre to ensure that the quality of a development team’s output is maintained at a high standard and to provide constructive feedback to help the team improve. We can review the quality of an application’s architecture, design, code, tests and infrastructure, and recommend a plan of action for improvement where appropriate. Our clients have found this service particularly useful in getting an independent opinion of supplier quality where development has been outsourced.
