Project Overview

River Street Events wanted a unique app for their BBC Good Food Summer and Winter Exhibitions to enhance the event experience for the attendees whilst gathering key data on consumer behaviour.

The app needed to include the show floor plan, theatre timetables, exhibitor list, registration details, venue information, special offers, location services, messages and advice on where to eat. The information needed to be accessible to customers at all times whether at home or wandering around the show itself. 

River Street Events wanted a supplier who had expertise in creating apps and an innovative approach along with excellent industry knowledge.

End Result

The app enabled users to navigate through the show quickly and search for key exhibitors they were keen to see. It also enabled exhibitors to get a live platform to promote their onsite presence and promotions.

River Street Events were delighted with the end product and have seen an increase in App downloads over the years.
