Black Pepper Software Ltd has been announced as a finalist in the BCS IT Employer of the Year award 2014.
This nomination is the cherry on top of a 15 year cake for Black Pepper Software, which was established in 1999. Today it is a multi-million pound business working with small to medium sized enterprises and large Blue Chip organisations.
John Cooke, Managing Director for Black Pepper Software, says, “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this award. The most important element of our company is the team and this nomination clearly shows we’re on the right track.”
Black Pepper Software has grown rapidly since its launch, increasing revenue year on year over the last 15 years, with a five fold increase in revenue over the past five years. Black Pepper Software has also almost tripled its employee numbers from 10 to 28, with only six members of staff leaving in the last 15 years, ensuring staff retention remains excellent.
It is through the investment in the team, the customers and excellent innovation that this growth has been achieved. IT systems have been a key part of this, supporting the successful internal day to day functioning of the team and in offering customers first class software solutions to solve their business problems.
John Cooke continues, “Only losing six members of staff in the last 15 years is fantastic. We’ve really invested in our team and that investment pays off daily with the excellent client feedback we receive. Hopefully in a further 15 years our staff retention will still be as excellent as it is today.”
